Beginning mid-November, as part of our comprehensive Health Education Curriculum, Leicester Middle School 6th graders will be offered instruction regarding emotional and physical changes related to puberty. This curriculum is aligned with the National Health Education Standards and Massachusetts Comprehensive Health Curriculum Framework. During the month of November, LMS CommuniTeen will be sponsoring the Middle School’s Annual Food Drive. All food collected will be donated to the Leicester Food Pantry, which helps families in need. The group will be collecting a variety of non-perishable food supplies such as soup, mac & cheese, fruit cups, cake and brownie mixes and many other items.
If you can help with this important food drive, please send any of these items into school with your child. The grade that brings in the most food will earn extra gym time! Thanks, in advance, for your help.
